Description
CDG PLAY Pixel Heart Cardigan Grey
For the first time in CDG PLAY’s history, the Filip Pagowski-designed heart was replaced entirely, swapped for a custom pixel version in the style of street artist Invader’s 8-bit artworks. This cardigan carries that pixelated heart logo on a grey base, a quieter alternative to the black version while keeping the same collaboration detail at the chest.
This is a v-neck cardigan in line with the rest of the PLAY range, crafted from pure wool with the standard front button closure.

Why This Collaboration Stands Out
Invader is known for installing 8-bit pixel art in cities worldwide, instantly recognisable to anyone familiar with early video game aesthetics. Replacing the classic heart shape with a blocky pixel version isn’t a minor design tweak, it’s a genuine departure from CDG PLAY’s founding logo, making this piece distinct from anything else in the standard lineup. On grey, the pixel detail reads a little more subtly than it does against black, giving the cardigan a quieter, more versatile feel.
How to Wear It
Buttoned over a plain tee
The grey base keeps things neutral while the pixel heart still stands out as the chest detail.
With other Invader collaboration pieces
The same pixel heart appears across other items from this collaboration, so it’s easy to build a coordinated look if you want to lean into the theme.
Sizing
Standard CDG PLAY sizing applies. It’s recommended to order one size up from your usual size.
Care Instructions
Hand wash cold or dry clean to preserve the wool construction. Lay flat to dry. Avoid wringing or twisting, which can distort the wool fibres. Store folded rather than on a hanger to prevent stretching at the shoulders.
